The research center was establised in 2020 called Center for Sustainable and Intelegent Circular Economy – CSICE. CSICE is established to promote Indonesia’s and global circular economy programs which are scientifically important and beneficial to academician, community, industry, government through comprehensive and innovative researches, workshop and capacity building. The implementation of IoT, digitalization, dan ICT in the field of circular economy increases the potential research collaboration nationally and internationally not only in the field of industrial engineering, but also in the field of informatic engineering. CSICE activities also support the UNiMMA through education, research, student internship, seminar and workshop, training activities at university. There are many research centre and new resaerch centers that support the development of sustainable evelopment goals (SDG) through their activities. However, this CSICE concern more on the development of sustainable and intellegent circular economy through technology innovations and advancement, process optimisation, (comprehensive regulations and policy, resource and materials efficiency), product and system development.
